Left Bank Studio Collective
In a former industrial quarter on the left bank of the Mtkvari, this collective of artist-run studios has become one of the places where Tbilisi's contemporary scene actually works — painters, ceramicists, textile designers and a small print workshop sharing a pair of converted halls. Visits are hosted by the artists themselves and follow whatever is genuinely in progress: a canvas mid-argument, a kiln being unloaded, proofs still wet. There is no gallery polish and no sales pitch, which is exactly the appeal. For collectors, curators and design-minded travellers, it is the most honest available reading of where the city's visual culture is heading.
